Trainee - Software Developer

Job description:

• Develop new applications and modify existing applications written in C#, ASP.Net and related technology in use and analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
• Able to own the problem – from needs to requirements, to architecture, to code, testing and deployment (if needed)
• Excellent communications skills:
• able to handle complex functional and technical discussions - explain the root cause, identify alternatives, discuss advantages / disadvantages, formulate a technical solution approach, and share the approach with team members

Technical Skills:

• Web development using ASP .NET 4.0/3.5/2.0
• Server side development using .NET framework: 4.0/3.5/2.0
• Thorough understanding of building user interfaces for ASP.NET applications.
• Experience using Ajax, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and other associated technologies is keenly desired.
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008: query design, optimization, performance / tuning, database design & administration.
• Strong database development knowledge with SQL Server in creating database objects like Stored Procedures/ Views/ Queries/ Triggers etc.
• Experience with data intensive web applications.
